Post-CPD session: A farewell dinner hosted for PAQS Council Members
Following the Continuous Professional Development (CPD) talk conducted by guests from the Pacific Association of Quantity Surveyors (PAQS) on Thursday, 2nd May, 2019, a farewell dinner was organised later that night by the Surveyor Division Committee prior to the speakers’ return to their home countries.
The dinner, which took place at Kaizen Sushi Restaurant in Bandar, was attended by nine people, including the Guest of Honour, Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Ir. Awang Haji Suhaimi bin Haji Gafar (Minister of Development). Also present at the event was the Vice-President of PUJA and Chairman of the Surveyor Division, Nazhatulshima Hj Md Jamil, who was there alongside the PAQS invitees; Francis Leung (Chairman) and Kwan Hock Hai (1st Chairman).
As an institute, PUJA Brunei has always been committed in promoting their affiliations with institutes and associations of similar interests and scope. The farewell dinner was, therefore, hoped to provide a platform for the committee members to share and exchange their ideas, knowledge and experiences with the representatives of PAQS through casual interaction.
