Politeknik Brunei holds 5th ConvoAppreciation Ceremony for sponsors

With their recent 5th Convocation Ceremony at the Chancellor Hall, Universiti Brunei Darussalam, Politeknik Brunei organised another certificate presentation ceremony to show their appreciation for their event sponsors on Saturday, 2nd November, 2019.


Attending as the Guest of Honour was the Politeknik Brunei’s Director, Denis Ho Mun Tai, who presented the certificates to all the 12 sponsors of the convocation. Also present to witness the ceremony was the institution’s Assistant Director, Awang Alias bin Haji Abu Bakar; alongside the Registrar, Heads of Departments and Schools, as well as officers and lecturers of Politeknik Brunei.


Receiving the certificate on behalf of Pertubuhan Ukur, Jurutera dan Arkitek (PUJA) Brunei was PUJA Council member, Ir. Awang Bahrin bin Mohammad. 


Other sponsors of the convocation include Brunei LNG Sendirian Berhad; Petrokon Utama Sendirian Berhad (PUSB); Progresif Cellular Sdn. Bhd., Dynamik Technologies Sdn. Bhd., Telekom Brunei Berhad; Institution of Engineering and Technology Brunei Darussalam Network; Jocon Contractor; NBT Toyota Gadong; Megamas Training Company Sdn. Bhd.; MedLife Resources; and Sistem Integra Sdn. bhd.


The Convocation Ceremony was conducted earlier on Thursday, 24th October, 2019, with 689 graduates from the institute’s 6th intake of the academic year 2016 receiving their Level 4 and Level 5 Diploma certificates. The ceremony marked the completion of their studies after undergoing 3-years of academic session under programmes offered by Politeknik Brunei’s School of Business, School of Information Communication and Technology (ICT), School of Science and Engineering, and School of Health Sciences.
