PUJA Receives Recognition on Professional Assessment

Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Ir. Awang Haji Suhaimi bin Haji Gafar, Ministry of Development; the Guest of Honour of the event presented the certificate of recognition to Yang Berhormat FDr. Ar. Dayang Siti Rozaimeriyanty binti Dato Seri Laila Jasa Haji Abdul Rahman, PUJA President on their achievement on PUJA Professional Assessment (PPA) Route 2 for Professional Engineers and Surveyors.
The Professional Assessment is the final step in becoming a PUJA Corporate Membership; an opportunity for candidates to demonstrate that they possess the level of ability, experience, knowledge, personal development and competency that is required to become a Corporate Member which will be assessed by peer Assessors against the attributes that apply to be PUJA membership.
To sit a Professional Assessment, candidates must hold the appropriate qualifications (educational base), acquired the required level of industrial experience and have completed their Continuous Professional Development (CPD) as set out by the institution. Through CPD candidates need to demonstrate their commitment to learning and development throughout their career; to stay relevant, keep their skills, knowledge and experience up to date, and record what they learned and then use in their job.
Also present at the event were Ar. Awang Haji Marzuke bin Haji Mohsin (Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Development), Senior officers at the Ministry of Development, Members of the Board of Architects, Professional Engineers and Quantity Surveyors (BAPEQS), Council Members of Institute of Surveyors, Engineers and Architects’ (PUJA) and its members.
